ENDING HOMELESSNESS
The war in Southern Cameroons has destroyed neighborhoods and disrupted every part of life for Southern Cameroons. 40% of the population has left their homes behind. Thousands of people have fled to the neighboring country of Nigeria, with thousands moving to safe areas of French-speaking Cameroon or other countries. CHRI’s response team is meeting displaced Cameroonians at critical moments on their journey to help them process, re-orient, connect, and navigate their new reality. They’re holding on to hope for peace. We’ve supported more than 25,000 people already. And, we’ll be there with more support until Southern Cameroonians can return to their lives.
While we work on solutions to the big problems in this crisis, we’re diving in and doing what can be done. Right away.
